Modes d’intervention

Research process

ONA has established a research process based on collaboration and interactions between different stakeholders. This process operates continuously in an iterative loop model.

This process applies both to the definition and monitoring of research programming and to each research project.

INTERVENTION MODES

CONSULTATION AND CO-CONSTRUCTION

  • To consult the different circles concerned to build together the amount of knowledge necessary for the development of regions formerly exploiting asbestos mines
  • Take into account the issues and needs of the environments concerned and the communities to support and guide the work of the NAO in an integrated and continuous approach

SCIENTIFIC MONITORING and MONITORING

  • Gather knowledge and set up accessible and useful databases, dashboards and directories
  • Be on the lookout for new knowledge and data by implementing monitoring tools
  • To propose tools for monitoring and monitoring practices.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

  • Initiate research projects that will address ONA’s main research themes, and invite the research community to participate according to a quantitative and/or qualitative, multidisciplinary, sectoral or intersectoral approach
  • Mobilize the scientific community so that it can consult and collaborate to advance knowledge and develop recognized evidence that is useful to decision-makers.
  • Realize projects to characterize, measure and document the health impacts of the mobilization of asbestos fibers in the environment and the valorization of AMT
  • Analyze current practices with a view to improving them with a view to sustainable development of communities in asbestos regions

COMMUNICATION AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

  • Disseminate the results of research projects
  • Produce guides, notices, reports, etc. from the results of research projects and share them
  • Inform the environment and the community
